Welcome!
Welcome to the Simmons Family Reunion Blog! Here we will post pictures of recent and past reunions and information pertaining to the reunions/family! This year our reunion will be at Rigby Lake in Rigby! We are all so excited! I can't wait to see everyone and I hope those who can't make it this year will enjoy seeing our partying on here and want to come next year! If you have any information or pictures you'd like to have posted just let me know. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteMark your calendars!!! We have decided on Friday July 27th and Saturday July 28th. July 27th for the Friday night gathering and July 28th for the offical reunion day. It will pretty much be the same as last years (since last years was really fun) with a few differences of food and the location for Friday night, just to switch things up a bit.
We have reserved the same Shelter-which is Shelter A at Rigby Lake for both the 27th and 28th. I will be sending around an email with more details as well as posting it on my Facebook page. For those who need to add me as a friend it's-Melody Sortor-Munoz.
Reminder-
ReplyDeleteJust a small reminder regarding the reunion. All the above information remains the same. Here is what Misy and I have come up with so far.
Friday-Will begin at 7:00 PM
Everyone will bring their own hot dogs/buns and something to share.
The Family Fund will provide the drinks and condiments.
Saturday-Will begin at 11:00 AM
Kary/Jolene/Carol/Linda-Each bring a Salad
1st Consins-Each bring a dessert
The Family Fund-Will provide KFC chicken and biscuts and pop/water and condiments

ReplyDeleteWe have decided to change the time for the Friday night cookout to 6:00 PM.
Don't forget your auction items. Please plan on purchasing something, If you find nothing to your liking kindly donate $10-Single and $20-Family.
Children 18 years and younger-there will be a gift given to each one, it will be 'water related' just like last year.
Children 18 years and older are invited to participate in the auction.
Also Jolene spoke to the owners at South Fork Inn and they are willing to give us a discount. However, we will need to have at least 10 rooms reserved to be able to get the discount, hopefully we will. Just say Simmons Family Reunion and your room will be $58.38 Total-that's including tax. (My family is planning on staying Wed, Thurs, Fri at the motel and camping on Sat night)
Please forward this to anyone I have missed. I know I don't have most of the 3rd Generation emails ie-Kinzie Hymas-Barnes, Cody Crawford, Britney Wright. They are getting so much older now and moving into their own worlds.

ReplyDeleteI hope this email finds everyone well. Just a quick reminder of the upcoming Simmons Family Reunion at Rigby Lake, July 27th and July 28th. Remember your auction items. Also we need to get a head count of the kids that will be attending so we can get the correct number of children gifts, we don't want to leave anyone out. Keep in mind that once one of our kids turns 18 they will not be receiving a children's gift, and I know we have had a few this year, (my gosh you guys are getting old)! I have listed everyone below to make it easier to reply to this email.
